I've personally been waiting for Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna's music release so eagerly just as I am waiting for the movie release.

Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna is directed by Karan Johar and the music is by Shankar Ehsaan Loy. To be honest, I am a little disappointed at the quality of music for such a big budget and star packed movie. There's so many requests for Lakshya that I had to get this up. So here it is. It's a film by Farhan Akhtar of Dil Chahta Hai and Don fame, starring Hrithik Roshan, Preity Zinta, Sharad Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan, and Amrish Puri in major roles. I'm a great admirer of this talented director. I've seen Lakshya but don't remember much, but I'm sure it's a great film.

Veer Zaara was released in 2004. It stars Shah Rukh Khan, Preity Zinta, Rani Mukerjee, Amitabh Bachchan, Hema Mailini and Manoj Bajpai. The plot line of the movie is:

Hindi Song | Mohabbatein (2000)

Mohabbatein was one of the biggest films of 2000 (and probably is still). I guess it's the first movie that starred Shahrukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan together. Other casts includes Aishwarya and whole bunch of then-newcomers; Shamita Shetty, Uday Chopra, Jugal Hansraj, Preeti Jhangiani, Jimmy Shergill and Kim Sharma. Mohabbatein is produced by Yash Chopra and directed by his son Aditya, who recently announced that Shahrukh Khan will not appear in any of their future movies. How sad. Music is by Jatin Lalit.

Hindi Song | Silsila (1981)

Here is another classic album for ya'll. Silsila is one of the most watched and most remembered Bollywood movies of all times. A really great movie and great music. It is directed by Yash Chopra and was surprisingly a flop when released. The star cast of Silsila includes Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bhaduri (now Jaya Bachchan), Shashi Kapoor, Rekha and Sanjeev Kumar.

Music of Silsila is composed by Shiv Hari. This is Shiv and Hari's first work together and they went on to create music for 6 more movies together (including Chandni ). Dekha Ek Khwab is one song that I've known for as long as I can remember and is one of my favourite. I'm sure a lot of you are going to like this album.

Hindi Song | Baabul (2006)

Set for release this December, Baabul is a movie which stars Amitabh Bachchan, Hema Malini, Salman Khan, Rani Mukherjee, John Abraham and Om Puri. It's a film by Ravi Chopra. If you want to know the storyline, go to IndiaFM for nice little description. I think the story of Baabul has been told many many times before in previous Hindi movies. Hope it has some interesting twists in story that make it different from all the others, otherwise I don't think it will be a fun movie.

The music of Baabul is the creation of Aadesh Shrivastava. Some songs are pretty cool, my personal favorite is 'Come On Come On'. Enjoy!
