Hindi Song | Omkara (2006)

Omkara is a star packed movie directed by Vishal Bharadwaj who also has given the music for the film. Omkara is an adaptation of Shakespeare's play, Othello. Ajay Devgan, Saif Ali Khan, Vivek Oberoi, Kareena Kapoor, Bipasha Basu, and Konkona Sen Sharma are the actors doing the main roles. According to Wikipedia, Omkara will be released on 28th of this month. The music is mostly slow, except for'Beedi' and the title song 'Omkara' which are both sung by Sukhwinder Singh. I found both these songs very A.R. Rehmanish. Ok, now it's your turn to listen to the songs and tell me what you think.

Hindi Song | Parineeta (2005)

Parineeta is one the best Hindi movies of 2005, and probably one the best of all Hindi movies. Starring Saif Ali Khan, Vidya Balan and Sanjay Dutt, Parineeta has an excellent and original story, as well as its great music. I always enjoy listening to the melodious songs of Parineeta. The movie is directed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra, and credit for the excellent music goes to Shantanu Moitra. I specially liked Saif's performance. He is at his peak here. Hindi Song | Salaam Namaste (2005)

Salaam Namaste is one of my favourite Hindi movies. Saif Ali Khan has done a superb job, so has the cute Preity Zinta. It's directed by Siddhart Anand, and the music is by Vishal & Shekhar. I love the songs of this movie and I am sure you like them too.

Hindi Song | Dil Chahta Hai (2001)

I love everything about Dil Chahta Hai! The music, the cast, the story, script, and everything else in this movie (except a couple maybe). I have watched this movie more than 10 times since it was first released, and everytime I watch it, it feels like it's the first I'm watching it.

Dil Chahta Hai's casts include Aamir Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Akshaye Khanna, and the pretty Preity Zinta. I think Aamir and Saif play the most interesting characters of the movie. They are funny, they are bold and most importantly their characters seem so real. I think this movie has something for everyone. You gotta watch this, if you havn't yet. It is directed by Farhan Akhtar, and the music is given by the one and only AR Rahman Shankar Ehsaan Loy (thanks to Anon for correcting me). The songs are great, but you would enjoy them much more if you were listening to them while watching the movie, or at least knowing in what context the songs are sung in the movie. Hindi Song | Kal Ho Naa Ho (2003)

Directed by Nikkil Advani and starring Saif Ali Khan, Shahrukh Khan and Preity Zinta, Kal Ho Naa Ho is/was one of the best movies of 2003 (can't believe it's already been 3 years since it's release), and one of my favorite. I specially like Saif's performance in this movie; compare it with his performance in Dil Chahta Hai and you will see how much he has grown as an actor, and I'm sure as a person as well.

Music of Kal Ho Naa Ho is directed by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy who have created the most catchy songs ever. Love the songs. Btw, this album was requested by Tuba through email. Enjoy the songs Tuba!
