Apna Sapna Money Money is a comedy movie starring Ritesh Deshmukh, Celina Jaitley, Jackie Shroff, Sunil Shetty, Riya Sen, Koena Mitra, Rajpal Yadav, Koena Mitra, Chunky Pandey, Anupam Kher, Shreyas Talpade and Payal Rohtagi. The movie is directed by Sangeet Sivan.

Music of ASMM is directed by Pritam. I personally haven't had a chance to listen to the whole album, however I did like the first few songs that I did listen to. I hope you like the music.

Hindi Song | Aryan - The Unbreakable (2006)

Here is some great music from Anand Raj Anand. He has done a great job. Like most new Hindi music albums, here is some influence of western music styles seen in Aryan. In fact, there are very few music directors left who are not much affected by the western styles of music. Lately, most Hindi movie soundtracks are created with imitations of western music genre's, specifically Rap and Hip Hop. But that doesn't mean their music isnt great.

The movie is directed by Abhishek Kapoor and stars Sohail Khan and Sneha Ullal. Enjoy the songs, and tell me what you think.

Hindi Song | Bas Ek Pal (2006)

Bas Ek Pal's music is directed by two new names in this field, Vivek Phillip (second album) and Amitabh Verma (debut album) along with the much experienced Pritam who have done quite a nice job. Songs aren't quite catchy and memorable though, and I personally wouldn't want to listen to them more than 2 times.

In this movie, Urmila Matondkar is cast opposite Sanjay Suri. Others include Juhi Chawla and Jimmy Shergill. Oni, the director, seems to have a good friendship going with Sanjay and Juhi, as this is their second movie tegether. First one was last year's My Brother Nikhil, which I haven't watched yet (I don't think I will, unless someone trustworthy recommends it).

Bhagam Bhag is a comedy movie starring Akshay Kumar, Govinda, Lara Dutta and Paresh Rawal and is directed by Priyadarsan. Priyadarsan has created some wonderful movies in the past, such as Virasat, Hera Pheri, Hungama, Hulchul and Chup Chup Ke. I hope that his latest creation is just as good if not better.

The music of this film is also by a trusted name in the industry, i.e Pritam. I will let you listen and decide for yourselves as I haven't listened to them yet. I hope y'all like it.

Hindi Song | Chup Chup Ke (2006)

I listened to Chup Chup Ke's songs just before I wrote this post, and I found it to be ok. However, this is not the type of music I would usually listen to. I didn't enjoy the songs at all. If you haven't listened to these songs before, I suggest you do that at least once and decide for yourself whether you like 'em or not. You may disagree with me.

The movie pic kinda shows that it is gonna be a comedy movie, which is good. I love comedy!! Specially comedy movies with Rajpal Yadav and Paresh Rawal, they are excellent performers. Sunil Shetty is another reason I'm looking forward to watching this movie. He's been great lately. You may like the movie because of Shahid or/and Kareena, but hey we are different people. Hindi Song | Dhoom 2 (2006)

Here it is boys and girls, Dhoom 2 is up! One of the most anticipated movies of the year is this film starring Abhishek Bachchan, Hritik Roshan, Aishwarya Rai, Rimi Sen, Bipasha Basu and Uday Chopra. It is directed by Sanjay Gadhvi.

The music director is, as I've mentioned before, Pritam. I haven't listened to 'em yet, as I was hurrying to post it here first. Tell what you guys think about it. Cheers.

PS. It is rumored that they will make Dhoom 3 too, and the bad guy's role will be played by Shahrukh Khan. I hope this isn't just a rumor.

Despite how much I dislike to add another album from Himesh Reshammiya, here is another work from him. I wonder how long he worked on this one(10 day? or maybe 15 days?) I didn't like the music at all. Similar to what he has been creating lately. The movie stars Emraan Hashmi, Ashmit Patel, Mithun Chakrabarty adn Geeta Basra. I haven't read much about the movie anywhere, so can't what it's gonna be about. All I can say is the music isn't good.

Hindi Song | Don - The Chase Begins Again (2006)

The wait is over boyz n galz!! Don is here!! I guess the release of its soundtracks was as much anticipated as the movie itself is.

After all the 'charche' about this film, I don't think there are many who don't know the casts and crew of DON. In case there are still some unaware, which is very unusual, I'll just say it. Don - The Chase Begins Again is a remake of the classic 1978 movie that starred Amitabh Bachchan as the Don. This time around Shahrukh Khan is the Don, and the rest of the gang includes Priyanka Chopra, Isha Koppikar, Arjun Rampal, Kareena Kapoor, Boman Irani and Sushma Reddy. The new Don is directed by Farhan Akhtar.

The trio gang Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy have directed the music of DON. They have brought back two of the songs from the 1978 Don to life; Khaike Pan Banaras Waala and Yeh Mera Dil. The new Khaike Pan Banaras Waala is sung by SRK himself, however none of the songs have that vibe the originals have/had. That's just my opinion. Hindi Song | Dor (2006)

Dor is a movie by Nagesh Kukunoor and stars Ayesha Takia, Gul Panag and Shreyas Talpade. Bothe Ayesha and Gul won multiple awards for their performances in Dor. They portray a village girl from Rajistan who is bound to the customs and rules of her family and village, and a free spirited city girl whose lives entangle into each other's after an incident in Saudi Arabia involving their husbands. It really is a wonderfully crafted film that tells a very heart touching story.

Music of Dor is composed byt the Merchant brothers, Salim and Suleiman. This does seem like a popular album because so many people have requested for it. I hope you enjoy it.

Starring Aamir Khan and Kajol, Fanaa is a movie I have been expecting all year. Despite all the expectations, I haven't watched it yet. lol. Ok, the music is, I think, is above average, and pretty nice. There's been a good amount of work on the lyrics of Fanaa, which is good. That is something that most new movies lack. Jatin Lalit is the music director, who has directed music for some of the best Bollywood movies, eg. Ghulam, Hum Tum, Mohabatein, etc.

Golmaal, as the tag line 'Fun Unlimited' says, is a Rohit Shetty comedy movie, starring Ajay Devgan, Arshad Warsi, Paresh Rawal,Tusshar Kapoor and Sharman Joshi. Music is directed by the duo Vishal and Shekar. I have mixed feelings about Golmaal's music. I wouldn't like to say anymore, except that I very strongly felt like the title song Golmaal's music matches Sean Paul's latest single Temperature which I like very much. I very much hope that the movie offers what it promises: Fun Unlimited!!

Hindi Song | Lage Raho Munna Bhai (2006)

Here it is everyone!! Lage Raho Munna Bhai (aka Munna Bhai 2)'s music is here . Music is directed by Shantanu Moitra and the movie is directed by Rajkumar Hirani. If you still don't recognize the people in the poster above (wtf, you don't?), then they are: Sanjay Dutt, Arshad Warsi and Vidya Balan. Other cast of the movie include Boman Irani, Jimmy Shergill and Diya Mirza. Well, the first movie of the series was an excellently created and extremely hilarious movie. Very original story and dialogues, I just loved it. Hopefully 'Lage Raho Munna Bhai' goes on the same path. The music is quite good. Songs are original and different, luckily there is no rapping and club style music which difinitely doesn't suit this kind of movie. I am very happy with the music, and very eagerly looking forward for movie to be released.

Hindi Song | Naksha (2006)

Well, well,well, Prittam has sent us another soundtrack album, this time Naksha's which stars Sunny Deol, Vivek Oberoi, Sameera Reddy and Jackie Shroff. The film is directed by Sachin Bajaj.

Naksha's music is not like the rest of Pritam's 2006 works. I didn't find the songs very pleasant, most with pretty empty lyrics. Not something that will stand out. The song Yaara Ve reminds me of the Pakistani band, Junoon's music.

Hindi Song | Omkara (2006)

Omkara is a star packed movie directed by Vishal Bharadwaj who also has given the music for the film. Omkara is an adaptation of Shakespeare's play, Othello. Ajay Devgan, Saif Ali Khan, Vivek Oberoi, Kareena Kapoor, Bipasha Basu, and Konkona Sen Sharma are the actors doing the main roles. According to Wikipedia, Omkara will be released on 28th of this month. The music is mostly slow, except for'Beedi' and the title song 'Omkara' which are both sung by Sukhwinder Singh. Hindi Song | Phir Hera Pheri (2006)

Here is another addition to our 2006 download list. Phir Hera Pheri's music is by the same person as 36 China Town's is, ie Himesh Reshammiya. In this set of songs, I liked some of remixes more than the original songs, and I think you'll like them too.

Phir Hera Pheri is a sequel to the 2000 movie "Hera Pheri" starring Akshay Kumar, Sunil Shetty, and the extremely funny Paresh Rawal. Hera Pheri was a hit, and it is one of the best Hindi comedy movies ever made. I just hope that Phir Hera Pheri is just as good as Hera Pheri, but I highly doubt it after looking at the type of movies being made lately. I definitely hope they prove me wrong. Enjoy the music.

Salaam-E-Ishq is a star packed (six couples. twelve lives.) directed by the man who brought us one of most loved movies of 2003, Kal Ho Na Ho, the one and only Nikhil Advani. It's his second film so far, and from all it's star power, you can only guess that Salaam-E-Ishq is going to do very well in the box-office. But how good a movie it is, is yet to be seen. The cast of SEI includes Salman Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Vidya Balan, John Abraham, Akshaye Khanna, Anil Kapoor, Ayesha Takia, Juhi Chawla, Govinda, Isha Koppikar, Shannon Esrechowitz, Sohail Khan, Karan Johar (!?) and Anjana Sukhani. Wow!

The music of this film is given by the guys who rocked the world with Don's music earlier this, Shankar Ehsaan Loy. The music is great, very playful and as usual they will rock ya! Enjoy!

Hindi Song | The Killer (2006)

Irfaan Khan is the killer this time, but Emraan Hashmi isn't an undercover cop this time. He is just a regular guy who make a living by driving a cab at night as his second job. Doesn't that story sound familiar to you? It does to me. From what I read on IndiaGlitz.com, The Killer is the Bollywood version of the 2004 Hollywood movie Collateral, starring Tom Cruise as The Killer and Jamie Foxx as the cab driver. The lead female role is played by Nisha Kothari.

The movie's music is directed by Sajid Wajid, and he is done quite a good job. Songs are pretty good. I personally like 'O Sanam' a lot. Enough talk from me. Enjoy these songs.

Hindi Song | Vivah (2006)

Starring Shahid Kapoor and Amrita Rao in the lead roles, Vivah is a story, as the title says, mainly about marriage, but it comes with all the other typical family issues depicted in most Bollywood movies. Being raised by uncle due to parents' death, agreeing to marry to fulfill parents' wishes, blah blah blah. Other major casts of Vivah includes Anupam Kher and Mohnish Bel(?).

Music is by Ravindra Jain, and it is not something I would listen to again. It could actually pretty good for some (I highly doubt that), but it definitely isn't for me. Looking at all the promotional stuff and the music of Vivah, I seriously don't care when it will be released.

One more person back from the Gangster team is music director, Pritam. Great music again! I specially love the song Bin Tere which was sung by the Pakistani singer, Jawed Ahmad, years back and done again for Woh Lamhe.

Hindi Song | Bluffmaster (2005)

I don't really remember where and when this soundtrack album was requested or who did request (aplogies for that), but it was requested who I hope finds out that I finally posted it.

Bluffmaster stars Abhishek Bachchan, Priyanka Chopra, Nana Patekar and Ritesh Deshmukh, and it is directed by Rohan Sippy. The music directors are Vishal and Shekhar who have done a really great job. I've always enjoyed listening to them (except a few, of course). Most of the songs in this album seem to be remixes of old songs, or at least that's how I feel. There is even a song (Do Aur Do Paunch) by Kishore Kumar. Btw, does anyone know what language is the song 'Bure Bure/Boro Boro' in? Some of it is Hindi, but majority is not. And somehow this song is one of my favourite from this album.

Hindi Song | Parineeta (2005)

Parineeta is one the best Hindi movies of 2005, and probably one the best of all Hindi movies. Starring Saif Ali Khan, Vidya Balan and Sanjay Dutt, Parineeta has an excellent and original story, as well as its great music. I always enjoy listening to the melodious songs of Parineeta. The movie is directed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra, and credit for the excellent music goes to Shantanu Moitra. I specially liked Saif's performance. He is at his peak here. Here is another one starring Aamir Khan, Rang De Basanti. I don't think I need to say much about what kind of film it is. It was showered with awards and nominations last year. Aamir's co-stars in Range De Basanti are Soha Ali Khan, Waheeda Rehman, Kiran Kher, Om Puri, Anupam Kher, Atul Kulkarni, Kunal Kapoor, Sharman Joshi, and Madhavan.

Music of RDB is directed by the incredible A.R. Rehman who has won our hearts so many times with his wonderful talent. That's exactly what he did with this album. This one has been requested countless times and here it is (finally). Enjoy!!

Hindi Song | Main Hoon Na (2004)

Main Hoon Na is directorial debut for Farah Khan, who was previously a choreographer. The star cast includes Shahrukh Khan, Zayed Khan, Sushmita Sen, Amrita Rao and Sunil Shetty. Music is by Ranjit Barot and Anu Malik. I think the songs are great, but because I've been exposed to them a lot of times, I have no desire to listen to them again. But I hope you guys enjoy them.

Main Hoon Na is a masala film, which, if not taken seriously, is quite fun to watch. Really interesting action scenes, nice funny lines, and of course Sushmita Sen should be good enough reasons to watch it.

Hindi Song | Murder (2004)

So many of you have requested for Murder, so here it is. It's a film by Anuraag Basu and stars Mallika Sherawat, Emraan Hashmi and Ashmit Patel in lead roles. I haven't watched the film yet, but I have heard and read a lot about it. Most of the views have been positive, and mostly in Mallika's favor. She seems to have done a good job.

The wonderful songs of Murder are composed by Anu Malik. It's a really great album. I love Dil Ko Hazaar Baar and Bheegay Honth Tere the most. I'm sure you will love them.

This is one movie starring Sanjay Dutt that I didnt like much. The story was quite lame, specially for Sanjay's role, besides I think Sanjay Dutt could have acted a lot better than this. Aishwarya and Zayed Khan have done what they usually do, nothing extra ordinary. However, Shabd's music is nothing like the movie itself. The songs are pretty good. Devdas is a remake of a classic hindi movie, it is also a masterpiece on its own. Whenever there is a remake, there definitely will be comparisons of the two versions. In case of Devdas, some people think the older version is better. But I think otherwise. I think Shahrukh khan, as well as Madhuri and Aishwarya have given their best performances ever. The movie is great from every angle you look at it; the music, acting, direction and every other thing is great. That is something you can't deny. It is directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and its music is by Ismail Darbar who has done an excellent job.

Hindi Song | Dil Chahta Hai (2001)

I love everything about Dil Chahta Hai! The music, the cast, the story, script, and everything else in this movie (except a couple maybe). I have watched this movie more than 10 times since it was first released, and everytime I watch it, it feels like it's the first I'm watching it.

Dil Chahta Hai's casts include Aamir Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Akshaye Khanna, and the pretty Preity Zinta. I think Aamir and Saif play the most interesting characters of the movie. They are funny, they are bold and most importantly their characters seem so real. I think this movie has something for everyone. You gotta watch this, if you havn't yet. It is directed by Farhan Akhtar, and the music is given by the one and only AR Rahman Shankar Ehsaan Loy (thanks to Anon for correcting me). The songs are great, but you would enjoy them much more if you were listening to them while watching the movie, or at least knowing in what context the songs are sung in the movie. Hindi Song | Lagaan (2001)

This is Aamir-season, so here is one more of him. Aamir Khan and Ashutosh Gowarikar's Lagaan started a whole new trend of film making in Bollywood that is focussed more on realism and art, than just plain mindless entertainment. This film has specially been a turning point for Aamir Khan, the result of which has been films like Rang De Basanti, Fanaa, and this year's latest and his directorial debut Taare Zameen Par. Lagaan also proved to be a significant point in the career of his co-star, Gracy Singh. She had only done minor roles in her two previous films, but Lagaan changed everything for her too. For being such an influent and great film with excellent performances and superb diection, Lagaan won 44 awards, including 8 at the Filmfare and a nomination for the Oscars.

The beautiful music of Lagaan is composed by the one and only A.R. Rehman with lyrics from Javed Akhtar. I'm seriously running out of praises for this movie. Every aspect of it is done extremely well. Enjoy the last couple of days of 2007 with these songs. Hindi Song | Dil Se (1998)

Dil Se is one movie we will all remember for different reasons. We may remember this film for its excellent music by A.R. Rehman that won him another Best Music Director's Award at the FilmFare Awards, for its beautifully choreographed songs by Farah Khan, for the amazing cinematography by Santosh Sivan, for Preity Zinta's first appearance, and lastly for its incredibilly bad results at the box office. Despite the bad box-office results, Dil Se won 5 FilmFare Awards. Manisha Koirala's performance in the movie is also to be praised. She has done a great job and was nominated for Best Actress' Award. Dile Se's famous song 'Chaiyya Chaiyya' recently appeared in the hollywood movie Inside Man directed by Spike Lee. Dil Se is one my favorite SRK films and I love every song of it. I hope you like them too. :p
